Costa Rica Strictly Hard Bean is an Arabica decaffeinated coffee selected from quality coffees grown above 1200 metres in Tarazzu, the fifth canton in the Costa Rican province of San José, characterised by a pristine valley surrounded by mountains that are part of the Talamanca Sierra range of southern Costa Rica. This winning combination of altitude, climate and variety produces a famous all-rounder.
Costa Rica SHB decaf coffee has a little bit of everything; a crisp and clean aromatic cup, a balanced body with subtle chocolate and nutty tones suitable for all brewing methods.

Our decaf Costa Rican coffee is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water method, developed by the Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Company. The process sees green beans being washed and soaked in hot water to release 99.9% of the caffeine in the beans.
