This decaffeinated coffee was once lost to the jungles of Sumatra, hidden among the lush jungle undergrowth in the heart of the Indonesian island of Sumatra, it took almost 100 years for this Arabica coffee varietal to be rediscovered.
Replanted in the Mandheling Province of West Sumatra, decaffeinated Indonesia Sumatra Mandheling coffee is known for its deep, brown sugar body, smooth cocoa finish and intense aroma for those who like a strong cup of decaf coffee.

Our decaf Indonesian coffee is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Decaf method, developed by the Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Company. The process sees green beans being washed and soaked in hot water to release 99.9% of the caffeine in the beans.
