Brazil is the largest producer of coffee in the world, from smallholder farms to large estates, and incredibly varied soils, regional climates and temperatures, which makes it a fascinating coffee origin that is full of surprises.
In some ways, given Brazil's dominance in the coffee-producing world, the cup taste of a classic Brazil is the most widely brewed coffee profile: a pronounced nuttiness, bittersweet caramel notes and a creamy body.

Our decaf Medium Roast Colombian coffee is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Method, developed by the Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Company. The process sees green beans being washed and soaked in hot water to release 99.9% of the caffeine in the beans.

This is delicious coffee. I had been caffeine free since Nov 1998, but I had a notion to try coffee again, decaf coffee. This DDCC has hit the mark.

I have been buying from Decadent for just over a year. Amazing selection of medium roasts as I don’t like it too dark. These are my favourite ones.
Even though we've been buying our beans from DD for years, this new Brazil coffee is above and beyond. It has a deep, well rounded flavour; great on its own and also blends brilliantly with the Sumatra DD beans. We're now using it blended with our favourite caffeinated beans so that our first cups of the day can be half caff. Brilliant! It's our new staple.

Aiming for a low acid decaff coffee to make cold brew. Second batch today and used for hot Americano and flavouring for coffee ice cream! So far, so good. Not irritating my sensitive bladder. The flavour is good but has a citrus/acid aftertaste that I’m not keen on hence 4 stars not 5. A bit of sugar takes this away but I would before to drink it with no sugar. Also probably need a slightly coarser grind for cold brew. Other than that I’m very pleased. The smell of the coffee when you open the bag is divine (especially as I have been unable to drink any coffee for one year now). Decadent Coffee - please suggest an alternative low acid decaff that might not have the citrus flavour and are you able to supply coarse ground coffee?

Lovely coffee! I switched to decaffeinated for health reasons after being a coffee asdict for years. I thought that the coffee wouldn't be as good, but I was wrong. Im also very impressed with the delivery- very quick and securely packaged.

It's good
I initially purchased one bag as a trial, then took out a subscription as I enjoyed the taste. The first batch was fine, for two cups I grind 35g in my hand grinder at setting 23 with an extraction time of around 27 secs. With the second subscription batch I found I was physically unable to get 35g into my grinder and I had to change the setting to 30 to achieve the same extraction time. Flavour, I would say was also marginally worse. I'm on my third batch now with no problem putting 35g in the grinder although the required setting is slightly different at 25. The flavour is good and back to what I experienced with the first batch. Not sure if these variations are normal? as I'm a newbie to espresso making.
I was unsure if I would like decaffeinated coffee, but had to switch due to health reasons. My next problem was finding coffee beans using the swiss water method. I saw the decadent coffee on line ,and I've not looked back. A wonderful flavour (much better than the beans I used to have), well packaged and prompt delivery.
Always helpful and prompt replies when contacted. I enjoy being able to try different varieties of decaf coffee in a way that suits me. The bog standard “decaffeinated coffee “ one buys in shops is far too limiting.

One of my favourites so far! I always find that Brazilian coffee has a naturally sweeter taste which is what got me into coffee in the first place many years ago.
